Description
These data are collected every 15 minutes from a sensor attached to Commercial Dock "B" along the northwest section of the Eureka waterfront. These data are then transmitted every hour (via RF modem) to a base station computer located at the UC Davis Sea Grant Extension office approximately 1/4 mile north of the dock. When these data have been received by the base station computer they are transmitted to an HSU server where they are then inserted into a database and made available on the web. Available information includes tempurature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, DO charge, pH, pHmV, turbidity, chlorophyll, depth, and battery power of the field collection unit.
